### What AutoDM Does

AutoDM lets you send the same direct message to every contact in a customer list. Unlike Outreach Agent (which personalises each DM), AutoDM is designed for broadcast announcements — product launches, promotions, or event invites.

AutoDM includes several smart features:

1. Progress bar — shows real-time send progress (e.g., 61/99 = 62%).
2. Schedule toggle — run the task immediately or set a future date/time.
3. Skip already messaged contacts — avoids sending duplicate DMs to contacts in other tasks.
4. Console — view detailed logs of every DM sent.

### When to Use AutoDM vs Outreach Agent

Use AutoDM for broadcast messages where the same content works for everyone. Use Outreach Agent when you need personalised messages tailored to each recipient's profile.

Tip: Keep AutoDM messages short and action-oriented. Include a clear call-to-action and a link. Long messages have lower open rates in DMs.
