Ghost Writer Modes & Task Setup

Configure Ghost Writer tasks using Theme Mode or Goal Mode.

Theme Mode

Theme Mode lets you describe the topics, niche, and style of content you want. Ghost Writer generates varied posts around your theme.

  1. 1Select 'Theme mode' in Step 1.
  2. 2Describe your content theme in the text box (e.g., 'AI productivity tips for startup founders, SaaS growth strategies').
  3. 3Optionally include a link to embed in generated posts.
  4. 4Adjust the Content format mix slider between Posts only and Threads only.
  5. 5Toggle 'Add a meme' if you want Ghost Writer to include relevant memes.
  6. 6Choose Auto Publish or Manual Publish on the right panel.
  7. 7Select your posting account and click 'Create task'.

Goal Mode

Goal Mode lets you specify a concrete outcome (e.g., 'grow followers', 'drive product sign-ups'). Ghost Writer optimises content strategy toward that goal.

  1. 1Select 'Goal mode' in Step 1.
  2. 2Enter your specific goal in the text box.
  3. 3Ghost Writer will automatically vary content types to achieve the goal.
  4. 4Review the Console tab to see which post formats are performing best.

Managing Tasks

Click 'Console' to see all active and completed tasks. You can pause, resume, or delete tasks at any time.

Running multiple Ghost Writer tasks simultaneously lets you test different themes or goals. Compare their performance in the Console to double down on what works.
