Root Cause: Incomplete Bio or Context
Inaccurate trend and template recommendations are almost always caused by a missing or vague account bio or Context. Volumn.ai’s recommendation engine reads your bio and Context to understand your niche. Here’s how to fix it:
- 1Go to your X profile and update your bio to include your identity, profession, and what you’re building. Example: "19y/o, builder, designer, building volumn.ai".
- 2In Volumn.ai, open Context and fill in the Identity tab — Description, Experience, and Purpose fields.
- 3The more specific your niche (e.g. "B2B SaaS for indie hackers" vs "tech"), the more accurate the recommendations will be.
Updating Context Without Changing Your Bio
If you prefer not to change your public X bio, you can update the Context fields inside Volumn.ai instead. The algorithm will use your Context data to personalise your viral content feed and template suggestions without touching your profile.

After updating your Context, allow up to 24 hours for the recommendation engine to recalibrate. If content is still off-target, try adding more specific keywords to the Description and Purpose fields.
