API Security

Volumn.ai uses X’s official OAuth 2.0 API for all account actions (except Viral Library, which only reads public tweet data and does not require account-level access). We never store your X password — only the OAuth access token required to perform authorised actions.

Avoiding Spam Flags

To minimise the risk of your account being flagged as spam:

1. 1Fill in your Context (Identity, Product, Experience) so replies are personalised and natural-sounding.
2. 2Keep Reply Agent interval at 2 minutes or longer — do not run it 24/7 without breaks.
3. 3Do not send identical DMs to large lists in rapid succession.
4. 4Avoid using Reply Agent on trending political or sensitive topics.

DM Rate Limits

To protect your account and comply with X API limits, both SalesBot (Outreach Agent) and AutoDM share the following sending restrictions:

1. 1Minimum 1-minute interval between DMs per account.
2. 2Maximum 200 DMs per account per 24 hours.
3. 3Tasks that hit the limit are automatically queued and resume at the next available window.

Abuse & Enforcement

Volumn.ai strictly prohibits multi-user abuse of a single X account. If your account is restricted or banned due to policy violations or abusive behaviour, Volumn.ai bears no responsibility.

Security checklist

Account security is mostly about reducing the number of ways access can fail. Use the safest connection path available, keep your login state healthy, and re-check permissions after major changes.
