Creating an AutoDM Task
How to set up and launch an AutoDM broadcast campaign.

Task Configuration
Fill in the AutoDM task form:
- 1Enter a Task name (e.g., 'Product launch DM') for easy reference.
- 2Select a Customer list from the dropdown, or click 'Create a list'.
- 3Choose the Sender account — the X account that will send the DMs.
- 4Write your message in the 'Message content' text area.
- 5Toggle 'Skip already messaged contacts' to ON (recommended).
- 6Optionally enable 'Schedule' and set a future send date/time.
- 7Click 'Create task' to queue the broadcast.
Monitoring the Task
After creating the task:
- 1The progress bar at the top shows real-time send progress.
- 2Click 'Console' (top-right) to see per-DM delivery status.
- 3Failed DMs are automatically retried once.
- 4The task completes when all contacts have been attempted.
Best Practices
Follow these guidelines for better AutoDM results:

Personalise the opening line even in broadcast DMs — use the recipient's first name if possible. Messages that feel personal have significantly higher response rates.
