Managing Your Lists

Organise, filter, and export your extracted customer lists.

List Management

In the 'My List' section you can:

  1. 1Click 'Filters' to filter lists by source type, date, or user count.
  2. 2Click 'Create a list' to manually build a list by adding X handles.
  3. 3Click 'Export' on any list to download it as a CSV file.
  4. 4Click a list name to view and manage individual contacts.

List Sources

Lists show the source type (e.g., 'From replies', 'Sales engine') and the number of users extracted. The date shows when the list was last updated.

Keep your lists fresh by re-extracting from the same tweet periodically — new people may have engaged since your last extraction.

List hygiene checklist

Lists stay useful only when they remain organized and relevant. Keep them clean, labeled, and aligned with a specific outreach or monitoring purpose.

  2. 2Remove stale or duplicate contacts before exporting.
  3. 3Keep one list per campaign objective whenever possible.

Frequently asked questions

How do I export an extracted list from Volumn.ai?

In the Extractor, find your saved list in 'My List' and click the 'Export' button. The list will be downloaded as a CSV file containing the X/Twitter usernames and profile data.

How do I use an extracted list for outreach in Volumn.ai?

After extracting a list, go to Outreach Agent or AutoDM, click 'Select a customer list', and choose your extracted list. The agent will use this list as the target audience for DM campaigns.
